Maisons Compère :

Digital Technology as a Driver of Growth

About Maisons Compère

Maisons Compère is a Belgian company specializing in the construction of energy-efficient turnkey homes. Their commitment? To make their clients’ real estate dreams a reality by offering sustainable, energy-efficient homes. The company provides comprehensive support, from handling administrative procedures to handing over the keys, including a detailed feasibility study.

Background

Maisons Compère sought the expertise of DJM Digital to revitalize its digital strategy. The company was looking for a trusted service provider capable of managing its entire digital strategy, thereby integrating all the key service pillars offered by DJM: technology, strategy, and digital marketing. This partnership was therefore aimed at modernizing Maisons Compère’s online presence, optimizing its omnichannel strategy, improving the user experience, and maximizing the generation of qualified leads.

A Customized Strategy by Persona

We took the time to understand the specific needs of Maisons Compère and its target audience. Through collaborative workshops, we identified three main segments. For each persona, we conducted an in-depth analysis of the customer journey, focusing on the user experience (UX) to optimize each stage of the funnel. The new website was designed with content tailored to each segment, precisely meeting their needs and expectations.

We also implemented customized workflows in the HubSpot CRM to optimize Maisons Compère’s workflows and processes, including automated emails, internal notifications, and the automation of certain tasks. These efforts enabled us to collect crucial data, facilitating precise personalization of communications. Finally, we set up dashboards to monitor the strategy in real time and adjust our actions based on the results obtained.

Challenge

The main challenge was to develop a new strategy tailored to different personas, both on the new website and in our marketing campaigns. We needed to maintain consistency and a strong brand image while rolling out our messaging across various channels. In addition, we faced technical challenges related to taking over an existing project, including optimizing overall performance, ensuring robust hosting, and improving website speed.

Web Hosting and Development

First, we stabilized and optimized the existing site to handle high daily traffic volumes. We provided corrective, adaptive, and scalable maintenance for the existing solution, while ensuring optimal performance through reliable and scalable hosting.

At the same time, we began developing a new website. A UX analysis was conducted to guide the design of a high-performing, robust site capable of meeting the needs of users and the business objectives of Maisons Compère. The technologies chosen for the site were selected to ensure performance, particularly during seasonal peaks such as the Batibouw trade show.

Enhanced Communication and Digital Marketing

To revitalize Maisons Compère’s social media presence, we overhauled their communications and marketing strategy, increasing visibility, engagement, and—most importantly—the generation of qualified leads. We implemented segment-specific campaigns across four social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and TikTok. In addition, we handled community management with two posts per week per channel. This multichannel approach maximized attention and interest from prospects at every touchpoint with the brand.

We also integrated a comprehensive funnel marketing strategy to guide prospects from their first contact through to requesting a catalog. Workflows in HubSpot were designed to track and nurture leads at every stage, ensuring personalized and effective follow-up.

Issues Related to the Construction Industry

The construction industry is facing a challenging economic climate, marked by rising interest rates, persistent inflation, and tighter budgets. This is putting significant pressure on companies’ profitability and their ability to generate high-quality leads. Traditional lead generation methods are no longer sufficient to ensure successful conversions. Companies must rethink their approach, build deeper connections with their prospects, and adopt a holistic view of the customer journey.

In this context, we also had to adapt our campaigns to specific legal constraints on social media, developing an advertising strategy that complies with regulations while remaining effective. By working closely with Maisons Compère, we designed a strategy aligned with the client’s needs and the prospects’ expectations, thereby strengthening their brand awareness and paving the way for sustainable growth and more effective conversion.
