About Targetspot
Founded in Brussels in 2007, Targetspot is an Adtech company that has revolutionised digital audio marketing. A member of the Azerion group, it offers brands unrivalled access to an ecosystem of leading publishers.
Context
A website that meets users’ expectations is an essential element for businesses. The UX has become the pivot around which any successful digital strategy is built. Beyond the design of user-friendly interfaces, it’s a strategic approach that directly influences conversion rates, user engagement and, ultimately, return on investment. It was against this demanding backdrop that Targetspot entrusted DJM digital with the task of completely rethinking its website.
UX strategy and data: the twin levers of Targetspot’s success
In the ultra-competitive world of digital audio marketing, understanding and anticipating user behaviour is a business imperative. Targetspot understood this when it identified a mismatch between its users’ expectations and the functionality of its existing site.
Our process began with a rigorous behavioural analysis, which then fed into the creation of wireframes by our UX/UI experts. We took every element into account, from ergonomics to ease of use, to create an interface that doesn’t just meet users’ needs, but anticipates them. The result: an online platform that not only holds the attention of visitors, but alsoconverts them into loyal customers and partners.
The complexity lay in the duality of the Targetspot audience: a platform where advertisers and publishers have to co-exist harmoniously. Our mission was therefore to create a bespoke user experience that served both these segments in a fluid and intuitive way. As well as designing the website, we included a migration to Google Analytics 4. This strategic step enabled us to capture rich, actionable data, paving the way for personalised reports that now feed into Targetspot’s business decisions.

A reporting tool for informed decision-making
We understand the critical importance of making informed strategic decisions based on hard data. To meet this need, we designed and implemented a comprehensive reporting system in Google Analytics 4, giving our client the ability to continually optimise their strategy and content.
We began this process by working closely with our client to gain an in-depth understanding of their objectives and needs. By identifying the key metrics shaping their business performance, such as conversion rates, resource downloads and key form interactions, we were able to put these KPIs at the forefront of our approach.
Through customisation via Google Tag Manager, we enabled Targetspot to capture and structure precisely these crucial events. This step laid the foundations for robust and reliable data collection. The end result: a real tailored reporting tool directly on GA4, designed to highlight the metrics that matter most to our client.
These reports have been designed and implemented to provide him with the information he needs to make informed decisions about his strategy and content, strengthening his ability to continually optimise his business.
A complete overhaul to meet Targetspot objectives.
It was through several workshops, fuelled by previously collected data, that we were able to iidentify the factors that were hindering the achievement of Targetspot’s business objectives. As a result, we developed bespoke solutions to remove these obstacles and optimise the user experience. The key element of our intervention was the complete redesign of the website, based on an in-depth understanding of customer journeys. Indeed, by analysing the behaviour of the various personas, we were able to create typical paths to integrate them harmoniously within the same platform. In addition, we reorganised all the blog’s content to improve engagement and reduce the bounce rate. Our team then implemented this redesign on WordPress, skilfully exploiting the CMS’s features. We also paid particular attention to the SEO migration of the site, accompanying the client every step of the way to minimise SEO and data losses. The end result of this collaboration was a better performing website that met the client’s objectives. Our customer journey-focused approach played a key role in this success, highlighting our ability to combine strong technical expertise with a detailed understanding of business issues to achieve tangible results.
A virtuous partnership
The collaboration between our digital agency and Targetspot has been marked by a strong partnership of over a year, based on listening carefully to the client’s needs. By working closely together and deeply understanding Targetspot’s challenges, we were able to implement bespoke solutions that have had a significant impact. From the strategic redesign of the website to the implementation of an advanced reporting system, every step was driven by our shared desire to deliver tangible results. We combined our technical expertise with a keen insight into Targetspot’s business challenges, resulting in powerful solutions. Thanks to this synergy, we have succeeded in enhancing the user experience, optimising conversion and providing valuable decision-making tools for the future of Targetspot. This fruitful partnership illustrates our commitment to shaping holistic solutions, putting our customers’ success first and developing results that go far beyond technology.
