About Magotteaux
Magotteaux stands out as a world leader in providing process optimisation solutions for various abrasive and impact applications. With a presence in over 150 countries, the company is committed to helping its customers optimise their operations while minimising their environmental impact.
Context
Magotteaux, despite its position as the undisputed leader in its field, identified a gap in its digital strategy, recognising the crucial need to strengthen its online presence in order to consolidate its brand image and increase the efficiency of its operations.
Aware of the growing importance of digital in their sector, they called on our agency to analyse and evaluate the foundations of their existing digital strategy. Our first task was to define a global approach that was in line with their business objectives and market positioning. This laid the foundations for our long-term collaboration, which continues to this day.
Overview and in-depth analysis
To draw up a complete inventory, we carried out a series of in-depth analyses and collaborative workshops. These workshops enabled us to gain an in-depth understanding of the specific features of Magotteaux’s various businesses and the needs of their various target groups. Our aim was also to get a good grasp of digitalization in a sector that has traditionally been reluctant to embrace it. By clearly defining the value proposition, target audience and priority objectives, we were able to anchor our strategy in the reality of their operations and the requirements of their sectors.
We then carried out a a detailed SEO analysis, covering technical and content aspects, as well as an in-depth UX analysis of their website to identify friction points and opportunities for improving the user experience. These combined analyses enabled us to understand the current performance of Magotteaux’s site and identify areas for improvement.
At the same time, we carried out a competitive analysis to assess Magotteaux’s position in relation to its main competitors. We analysed their overall digital presence, particularly on social networks. This comparative assessment enabled us to place Magotteaux in the context of its market and to identify best practices in the sector.
In addition, qualitative interviews were conducted with a number of employees in various departments at Magotteaux to gain a clearer understanding of their internal processes and how best to integrate them into their operations. The major challenge was the need to structure a clear action plan and prioritise initiatives within a roadmap. It was crucial to order the actions strategically to maximise Magotteaux’s efficiency in its digital expansion, while taking into account the resources available and the company’s long-term objectives.
Solution
Through a series of targeted workshops and specific audits, we drew up a practical roadmap, defining the actions to be taken according to their importance. Our workshops laid the strategic foundations, while our audits provided the data needed to develop the roadmap. This methodical approach ensured that each initiative was relevant and in line with Magotteaux’s strategic objectives, while being adapted to the particularities of each of their business sectors.

Drawing up a strategic roadmap
After carrying out a comprehensive review, we drew up a strategic roadmap to guide Magotteaux in implementing their digital strategy. This roadmap was designed to help them prioritise their actions and identify the resources required for each stage. Through careful planning, we have structured the roadmap around short, medium and long-term objectives, ensuring a logical and efficient progression.
The roadmap includes specific and concrete actions, enabling Magotteaux to launch its digital strategy in a pragmatic and structured way. We have included initiatives aimed at ‘quick wins’ to achieve rapid results, while planning longer-term actions to ensure sustainable growth. Each action is accompanied by recommendations on the resources required, whether internal skills, technological tools or external support.
