About Charles Liégeois
Charles Liégeois is a family business with a reputation for coffee roasting. Previously known as Café Liégeois, the company embarked on a rebranding process in 2020 to modernise its image while emphasising its ethical and family values. With a long tradition of quality and a commitment to responsible practices, Charles Liégeois aspires to offer its customers exceptional coffee while meeting the highest standards of sustainability.
Context
Charles Liégeois has been working with DJM digital since 2019. Our team initially developed their website. As part of their rebranding, Charles Liégeois once again called on DJM digital to redesign their site to reflect their new identity and support their online growth ambitions. The challenge was to create a platform that not only showcased the company’s high-quality products but also its ethical and family values.
Challenge
The main challenge was to understand and translate the world of Charles Liégeois’ new branding into a coherent and engaging online experience. A robust and flexible technical platform was needed, capable of managing both a showcase site and a high-performance online shop. In addition, the aim was to enable the Charles Liégeois team to easily edit their content and manage a product catalogue with advanced filtering functionalities. Finally, it was essential to integrate a content and digital marketing strategy that resonated with the company’s values.
Solution
DJM digital undertook a multi-stage approach to meet the needs of Charles Liégeois. After an in-depth analysis and audit of the project, we developed a showcase site using Drupal for its flexibility and security. For e-commerce, we integrated product catalogue functionalities with advanced filters, using a tailor-made solution. In addition, we integrated scratch designs to ensure complete customisation of the site.
