About CAP48
CAP48 is an RTBF solidarity project that supports medical research into autism in children and teenagers. One of its major initiatives is the CAP48 100 km challenge, accessible via a mobile application.
Context
CAP48 is organising a solidarity challenge: run 100 km in 21 days, alone or in a team, to support autism research. This edition features a connected version, enabling participants to track their steps via an app on iOS and Android, while collecting donations.
Challenge
Design a digital solution that :
- motivates participants
- creates a collective dynamic
- makes it easier to keep track of the 100km
- is easy for the CAP48 team to administer.
Solution
- iOS & Android application: a mobile experience that allows you to register, track mileage, add gamification (badges, rankings, notifications) and run community events.
- Back-end: a robust server to centralise data, manage storage and ensure synchronisation of activities and exchanges.
- Back-office: an administration interface enabling CAP48 to manage everything from a single location.
